I am Neil Sharp; an architecture, landscape and sports photographer based in Morzine in the French Alps.
I have been enthusiastic about photography since I started university (in the year 2000) and borrowed my mum’s old Pentax SLR film camera. Although I studied Adventure Education, for me photography has always gone hand in hand with sports and nature. It felt natural to take my camera with me when climbing or snowboarding, or going on a sunrise hike. Since moving to the Alps, I've had many more opportunities to document adventure sports and landscapes. From discovering the region in which I now live, I've taken inspiration from the unique buildings and mountain chalets, and this has led me into architectural photography.
